you got off and i'll miss you.
we were supposed to take a walk in the cemetary. i thought spring would come for both of us. then i stopped thinking it would come for you. it's pretty dark now.

When I met James at Borders many years ago, he expressed an interest in my art and asked me about it the many times I saw him there. Once, when he was showing some of his collages at the store, he proudly gave me a guided tour and explained his methods. His pieces were very good, and he seemed to fit very well into that environment. People looked softly upon him.
I am deeply saddened that he is gone, too soon.
